Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Soak the calamari rings in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Dredge the soaked calamari in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  6. Place the calamari in the basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Remove and serve immediately.
