Description
A delicious air fryer calzone filled with cheese and pepperoni.
Ingredients

- 2 cups pizza dough
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into circles, about 6 inches in diameter.
- Add cheese, pepperoni, and a spoonful of pizza sauce to one half of each circle.
- Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape.
- Seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
- Place calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables or other meats as desired.
- Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
