Airfryer Calzone: 4 Steps to Cheesy Delight

Description

A delicious air fryer calzone filled with cheese and pepperoni.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pizza dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into circles, about 6 inches in diameter.
  4. Add cheese, pepperoni, and a spoonful of pizza sauce to one half of each circle.
  5. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape.
  6. Seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
  8. Place calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  9. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

  • Feel free to add vegetables or other meats as desired.
  • Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
