Crispy and delicious homemade French fries made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Cut the potatoes into thin strips.
- Soak the potato strips in water for 30 minutes.
- Drain and pat the potatoes dry.
- In a bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Add the potato strips to the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for desired crispiness and cook longer if needed.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use russet potatoes for the best texture.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra crispiness, you can sprinkle with cornstarch before cooking.
