Ingredients

- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 cup mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
Instructions
- Rinse the basmati rice under cold water.
- Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the soaked rice with 2 cups of water and salt.
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds and chopped onions.
- Sauté until onions are golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and mixed vegetables; cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the garam masala and stir well.
- Add the rice mixture to the air fryer basket and cook for 20 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- You can add your choice of protein.
- Serve with raita or curry for a complete meal.
