  • 1 egg (beaten)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Divide the dough into 8 pieces and shape each into a pretzel.
  7. Boil water and baking soda in a pot. Dip each pretzel into the boiling water for 30 seconds.
  8. Place pretzels in the air fryer basket. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
  9. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
