Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add dried fruit if using.
- Shape dough into a circle and cut into wedges.
- Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Place scones in air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove and let cool before serving.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on air fryer model.
- For a sweeter scone, add more sugar.
- Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container.
