Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Stir in milk and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Add dried fruit if using.
  5. Shape dough into a circle and cut into wedges.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  7. Place scones in air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove and let cool before serving.

  • For a sweeter scone, add more sugar.
