Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
  4. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  5. Stuff the cavity with lemon halves and fresh herbs.
  6. Place the chicken breast side down in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 30 minutes.
  8. Flip the chicken to breast side up and cook for an additional 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  9. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
