A simple and delicious air fryer whole chicken recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 whole chicken (about 4–5 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 lemon, halved
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Stuff the cavity with lemon halves and fresh herbs.
- Place the chicken breast side down in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 30 minutes.
- Flip the chicken to breast side up and cook for an additional 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.

- Adjust cooking time based on the size of the chicken.
- Let the chicken rest to retain juices.
- Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
