Crispy and juicy fried chicken made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken pieces
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Coat each chicken piece in the flour mixture.
- Place chicken in the air fryer in a single layer.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray chicken with cooking oil before cooking.
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
- Let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
